Voluntary Care Services
With the ever increasing number of venerable and elderly people being left to fend for themselves in the community. It is sometimes hard for them to cope without any outside help on a regular basis. It’s this group of people that our services are geared and supplied to.
We provide a service that gives the user a free 1 to 2 hours first time opportunity to experience the benefit of having a Care Worker visit at least once a week. We show them the benefit it will have on their health and environment that they live in.
With simple basic things like making sure
- They have food to eat in the house/accommodation
- Accompany and helping them with their groceries and shopping
- Checking that they clean or have someone to come and help with the cleaning of the house at least once a week
- Have regular wash
- Wash they clothes at least once a week
- Check to see that they are keeping up with all their appointments
- If they are on medication to check they are taking them as prescribed.
- We try and encourage them to have an active social life by getting to know the persons. Interests, what they like and what they want to do.
These are things we all need in our everyday life that help us to keep in a good health. And help us to have a very active social and independent lifestyle.
